Mechanical Interlock A 63A/3P – 6571 (IP44 230V) is a single – phase three – pole interlocked socket complying with IEC international electrical standards. Its 3 – pole structure is actually a single – phase power supply configuration of 2 live wires plus an earth wire (2P + E). The rated current of 63A can stably meet the continuous power demand of single – phase high – power equipment such as welding equipment, large commercial freezers and small industrial heaters. The rated voltage of 230V conforms to the single – phase industrial and commercial power distribution standards, which can maintain the stability of power transmission in long – term continuous operation scenarios and reduce the impact of voltage fluctuations during equipment start – up and shutdown.
The mechanical interlock design is its core safety guarantee, strictly following the core rule of “locked when powered on and unlocked when powered off”. When the socket is powered on, the internal mechanical structure will firmly lock the inserted plug, completely eliminating the irregular operation of live plugging and unplugging, and avoiding electric arcs generated under 230V voltage igniting surrounding dust or causing electric shock to personnel. If the plug is not fully inserted and locked, the circuit cannot be connected, fundamentally avoiding hidden dangers such as local overheating and equipment failure caused by poor contact. In addition, the socket supports locking with 4 padlocks at the 0 – position when power is off (the maximum diameter of the padlock bow is 7mm). During equipment maintenance, it can be fixed in a power – off state to prevent unauthorized personnel from mistakenly closing the switch, which is in line with the safety management specifications of industrial sites.
The product shell is made of polycarbonate material, which has excellent impact resistance and flame retardancy. With an IP44 protection level, it can effectively block the intrusion of industrial dust and resist splashing water from any direction, suitable for non – immersed scenarios such as factory workshops, commercial kitchens and outdoor temporary operation areas. The internal contact carrier is made of high – temperature resistant material, and the conductive contacts are made of nickel – plated brass. It not only has excellent electrical conductivity, but also can reduce wear and oxidation during plugging and unplugging. Combined with the screw – fixed terminal design, the wiring is firm and compatible with various types of wires, and can be adapted to conductors with a maximum size of 25mm², which can reduce the heating hazard caused by the increase of contact resistance during long – term use.
